‘Facing a Little Volcano’ Launched

Facing a Little Volcano, a book of interview by Uday Adhikari with writer Mahesh Paudyal, was launched in the inaugural session of the two-day Kalinga Literary Festival, Kathmandu on Saturday at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur. The book was launched jointly by veteran author Dr. Jagaman Gurung, Acting Chancellor of Nepal Academy, veteran Indian poet Ashok Vajapayee, poet Tulasi Diwasa, story writer Maya Thakuri and journalist Kanak Mani Dixit. The book consists of Mahesh Paudyal’s answer to 22 critical questions on art, literature, translation, authorial upbringing, favorite reading, internationalization of Nepali literature etc., posed by critic Uday Adhikari.

The book has been published by BN Pustak Sansar. This is critic Adhikari’s second book of interview, following his recently published work Prashna in Nepali.
