Lady

Must read

Radhika Kalpit

She carries a pair of eyes
full of compassion
but they see just passion.
She carries a pair of breasts
that bear existence of the human race
but they see just erotic emblems.
She carries a pair of arms
that embrace grace and amnesty
But they call them a mere station of filthy emotions.
She carries a pair of feet
that keeps the universe mobile
But they see thunder for masculinity.
She carries a pair of lips
that secrete the nectar that nurtures the hope of life
But they see just lumps of lust.
She carries a set of sheath
that pampers the pollen to raise the flower
But they see just a palliative passage that soothes their demonic cravings.
She carries a brain embroidered with beauty
That balances humanity and rationality
But they see just a skull in skeleton.
She was born a human
She was born alive
She was born free
But they turned her into a statue

They made her a captive
And sold in the market
They chopped her and have preserved in a refrigerator for ages.
