When Soul Weighs upon You

Must read

Yogen Guragain

Life numbs and deadens,
And rises up
Just to fall back into another slumber again.
Slumbering and waking are consecutively
Crashed down by moments of desperation and aspiration.

Very many strands of hope stream
Into a river of sorrows
So quickly
Giving you a sense that
Your life is just that of a pedestrian
Constantly moving back and forth
Between happiness and misery.

And everybody around you is so emotionless
They fail to realize you
Even when you are stuck in a pond of despair
Coz you cannot penetrate them as well.
