The song, penned by Australia-based Nepali lyricist and health worker Anju Adhikari, was released on the YouTube channel of premier recording firm Bindyabasini Music Company. Popular singer Melina Rai has lent voice to the song, in which lyricist Anju Adhikari herself appears as the lead actress. Besides referring to the festival, the song also echoes the pain of the diaspora, who leave their homeland and struggle abroad to earn their fortune.
