TGT Correspondent, Kathmandu, September 16

Centre for English Teachers’ Research and Pedagogy (CETRAP), Nepal is hosting an academic webinar under the title-head “At the Crossroad of Research, Literature and Pedagogy” for three days, starting from September 17. According to a press release issued by the Centre’s chair Dr. Ramji Timalsina, the webinar will feature 15 papers, including four on research methodology, seven on literary theories and analysis and four on English language teaching, followed by intensive discussion and commentaries on the papers. The three-day event will take place from 3 to 6 pm Nepalese time, the release said. The webinar is expected to host as many as 250 participants every day, according to the sources.

“For the nation’s reconstruction, everyone of us needs to do our duties with a sense of quality, and by doing that, we can ensure personal and collective growth,” said Dr. Timalsina with The Gorkha Times.

It may be noted that the Centre, now in the twelfth year of its foundation, had organized a similar webinar at the international level in June via ZOOM, adapting to the digital imperative foisted by corona pandemic. The scheduled seminar is a continuity of the same.
