INLS Nominates Advisers

International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) has nominated advisers for the term 2020-2022. According to a press release issued by the Society, the newly nominated advisers are the Society’s former president Radheshyam Lekali (Nepal), NRNA President Kumar Pant, Professor Dr. Laxman Prasad Gautam (TU Representative), LB Chhetri (Nepal), Dr. Pushpa Sharma (India), Ram Khatri (US) and Sumal Kumar Gurung (UK). A meeting held recently under the chairmanship of the Society’s President Prakash Poudel made these nominations. The term of the nominated advisers shall be of two years, the press release said. 

INLS has also made a series of nominations in the recent times to give completion to its organizational structure. It has nominated its Senior Vice President, poet Govardhan Pooja as its official Spokesperson. It has also made appointments to key editorial posts for its periodic journal Antardrishti. Belukaji Thapa (Japan) has been nominated its Chief Editor, while Surendra Astaphal from Nepal has been nominated the Executive Editor. Deependra KC (Belgium), Deepa Rai Pun (US), Arjun Shree (Portugal), Binod Pariwartit (Korea), Prakash Sapkota (Denmark), Suman Varsha (Nepal), Prem Prasad Bhattarai (Qatar), Hari Adhikari (Australia), Abishkar Bharati (US) and Chadra Prakash Giri (India) have been nominated as members to the editorial board. All these nominations have been made for a term of two years, an official sources of the Society informed The Gorkha Times

Since the election of its new central executive in August, the INLS has been making various appointments in its bid to give completion to its organizational structure. The Society is understood to have charted a two-year program for the promotion of Nepali literature worldwide.
