When you see your first child
You see your mini-you.
It seems like your dream comes true.
Your have sleepless nights and tired body.
Little shriek in the room then you know what to do.
Wipes and diapers, toys all around on the floor,
Judgmental eyes, suggestive tones all come and go.
For you, the world revolves around you and your baby.
For others, it’s normal stuff to do.
Cheer, adore, protect and love the glorious gift you ever had.
Make their life prosperous so they can bloom into beautiful flowers.
They are here, not to fulfill your unfulfilled dreams.
You are imprinting your little one, with thoughts and rules.
The list of to-do and don’t.
They must outsmart in every view.
But before that,
You should know one fact,
Which is still intact.
Your child is not yours!
Yes! You read it right!
Your child comes through you, not for you.
Beautiful. Best wishes to all who get their child, but right says the poet, ‘the child comes through you, not for you.’ 💐
Thank you. 🙏❤️
