Where Goes the Rooster?

Must read

There was a rooster in the group of an animal. Every morning, the rooster crowed. And the animals got up.

It crowed once at 3 o’ clock. And then at 4 o’clock. It continued till the sun rose at 6 o’ clock. After the sun rose, the birds flew, flapping their wings. At 7 o’clock in the morning, all the animals started their daily works.

One day, the king of the animals, an old lion, died. All the animals were sad. At
noon, they buried the body of the lion. After a week, a new lion came into the forest. The animals declared him the new king. At 5 pm, the new king sat on the throne.

But the new king was a lazy one. He always wanted to sleep. He called the fox and said, “Bring an animal to me every day. Go hunting at dawn, before the sun rises. The flesh is fresh in the morning. Do not kill any animal at night. The meat tastes bad.”

So the fox waited for the rooster to crow in the morning. When it did, it used
to move out.

Soon the animals became aware of the fox’s trick. They moved to another forest across the river at midnight. The rooster also flew away.

Another morning, when the cock did not crow, the fox slept till late. Lion, the new king, was angry. He called the fox near and scolded. The fox also moved away to another forest. The lazy lion died of hunger after
seven days.
