Must read

Kathmandu, March 8

The Poetic Burden, a collection of English poems by Biratnagar-based Nepali poet Sushant Thapa has entered the book market. Published by Authors’ Press, New Delhi, the book contains 92 poems penned by the young, talented and vibrant Nepali talent. The work is Mr. Thapa’s debut in book form. Reviewers say, his poems are simple in diction and aphoristic at times, and take apparently simple and neglected things as their vantage and shoot the same to some philosophical poignancy. Some tell stories as a ballad does, and others argue, like a rhetorician .Apparently like an eccentric observer, the poet is very much into a serious self-inquiry, trying to conjure meanings of life and the world from fragmented revelations.

The book is also available for online booking at various digital counters like daraz.com and okdam.com.
