Acharya Rajan Listed among World Yoga Instructors

Acharya Rajan Sharma, a Nepali yoga instructor and motivator, based now in Australia has been listed among world’s most influential yoga instructors. The announcement was made on Monday by Yoya Alliance International, and Yoga Alliance Australia. The Alliance has also conferred on Mr. Sharma the title, “Master Yoga Teacher.”
Born in Bansbari, Peepalchaur of Sindhupalchok district of Nepal, Sharma is presently based in Sydney, Australia. An MA in Economics, he has also received special education in Journalism, Astrology, Astronomy, Accountancy, Yoga and Nature Cure. He is a Civil Celebrant for Nepal and Australia, and teaches as Victoria University, Australian Ideal College, Sydney. He was nominated Civil Celebrant by Attorney General, Government of Australia, NSW, Sydney. He has been a yoga instructor at Ram Charit Manas Institute, Sydney, and Cultural Ambassador of Nepal to the Republic of Fiji. An international motivator and positive thinking activist, he is also a part of Vishwa Shanti Parishad, an organization working for world peace. Mr. Sharma is also a member of World Peace Council (Under the UN), Vienna, Austria. He has founded the Vishna Shanti tatha Adhyatma Vigyan Samaj (Global Science and Spiritual Science Society, GSPSS. He has spoken to audiences in more than 30 cities in 19 countries of the world, including America, UK, other countries in Europe, Australia, Qatar, Thailand, Singapore (till 2019)
Before this distinguished recognition, he has been awarded with titles like Motivator of the Year (BHO, USA, West Virginia in 2017), Sanskar Nepal Medal by Sanksar Nepal, Doha, Qatar (2017), Literature and Social Service Medal (NAIFA Nepal,  Sydney, 2016), Bhanu Gold Medal, NKSSP, Sydney (2015), Media Personality of the Year (NRNA Australia, 2013), Travel Writer Award (Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Government of Nepal, 2001 and 2002).
His organizational  affiliations include International Nepali Literary Society, (as Vice  President, Central Executive Committee), University of Sydney, Nirvan Akhada, India; Nepal Television, Radio Nepal, Nepal Samacharpatra, Himalayan Radio, Sydney; Padmakanya College,  Kathmandu; Brighter College, Kathmandu; Shri Kalika Devi Secondary School, Melamchi 12,  Sindhupalchok, Nepal.
Sharma is author of several books of yoga and positive thinking. Some of his distinguished publications include His published works include Sukhashutra (2017), Safal Jeevanka Shutraharu (2017), Prashnama Ishwar (2015), Bhatkiyeka Parkhal (2004), Eco Tourism in Nepal (2005).
