Morning and Poetry

Must read

Pramod Sarang

When the birds croon
Ditties of awakening
Sending forth reverberation of intimacy
In the crimson morning, dotted with love and enthusiasm
You, at that hour, must observe
The chrysanthemums and marigolds
Blooming in the front-yard
And catch a rippling tune
To note how the morning sings,
Sending forth freshness of beautiful poetry
Through every single drop of dew
As though new vigor is erupting
From the shower of life in the morning song
Where, fresh reeks of compassion and love
Keep, in their strong holds,
Innumerable joys and depth of life.
