Yatai Katai, an anthology of Nepali poems by seven contemporary Nepali poets has been published. The anthology, published by BN Books, includes poems by RM Dangol, Govinda Nepal, Chhabi Raman Silwal, Tanka Upreti, Thakur Belbase, Prollas Sindhuliya and Mani Lohani. The seventy collected poems, as the poets have claimed, reflect Nepal’s latest timeframe, the experience of this generation, the tragic life of the current times, and the glimpses of hope in hand. The poems also reflect political conflict and the wounds thereof, political resolutions, emerging hopes for life and man’s struggle for it.

The publisher BN Books believes that these poems, refined both in thought and artistry, would well serve the taste of the readers. Surya BC, the proprietor of the publishing house says, the poems from poets of similar age, who got established as talented poets in the last two decades, have been brought together to ensure the coming together of their scattered thoughts.

The poets have also reported the press that their group, P7 shall continue its endeavor to organize deliberations, study and research of poems and their translations.
