Pramod Sarang’s ‘Ajaya Triptee’ Launched

‘Ajaya Triptee’, a collection of poems by poet and music composer Pramod Sarang was launched virtually on Zoom on  Sunday. The launch, chaired by Vice Chairman of International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) Korea Chapter Mr. RN Adhikari, was attended also attended by INLS Board of Trustees Vice President Padam Bishwokarma, INLS President Prakash Poudel Maila, Senior Vice President Govardhan Pooja, Vice President Baba Basnet, NRNA-ICC language and literature promotion committee Vice President Maheshwar Panta,  poets Lal Gopal Subedi, Radhika Guragain, Sama Shree, Shri Babu Karki Udas and others. The guests wished the delivery a grand success. The event was hosted by DR Neupane Surya, Senior Vice President of INLS Korea chapter, while Vinod Pariwartit, advisor of INLS Korea, delivered the welcome address.

Reflecting on the anthology, critic Mahesh Paudyal said, Pramod’s poem are minimalistic and therefore both aphoristic and thoughtful. He lauded them for their musicality and freshness. Poet Bhisma Upreti observed that Sarang’s poems addresses contemporary social issues most dominantly, through he also wrote on personal issues. Some guests poets recited poems from the anthology.

Speaking on the occasion, poet Sarang not only read some of his chosen poems but also narrated the story behind the origin of his anthology.

The anthology, published by INLS Korea Chapter collects 111 poems.
