Nepali Pratibha Pratisthan, a premier socio-literary organization of the Nepalese settled in the United Kingdom, has announced names for the Pratibha honor and award for the year 2020. Senior prose writer and linguist Dr. Rajendra Bimal will be honored with Pratibha Samman, while poet and journalist Bimala Tumkhewa will receive the Pratibha Award. According to a press note issued by the Pratisthan, the honor carries a sum of 50,000 rupees along with a citation, while the award carries a sum of 100,000 rupees and a citation.
The Pratisthan has been conferring these honors and awards every year to Nepalese scholars and artists, who have made remarkable contributions to the field of Nepali art, literature, culture, language and philosophy, and to young talented artists and authors.
