Poet and lyricist Geeta Bhattarai has claimed her own life on Monday at her own home in Itahari. According to local sources, poet Bhattarai hanged herself to death while all other members of her family were away from home. The detail of the case is being investigated.
Also a singer, poet Bhattarai hadrisen to good fame in the later days through her creation and performance.
Late poet Bhattarai is survived by her husband, a son and a daughter.
