Krishu Chhetri
Do not consider water cold and fluid all the time
Do not consider it gullible and simple all the time
Go; touch its core
There is always a fire inside water
Burning against stability
Water always articulates a rebellion
And sings a song of revolution
More intently than fire
Water never agrees to stay suppressed
It doesn’t concede to be barred by a wall
Time and again
It speaks in the forms of waves and tides.
Though water has no voice of its own
And smolders none
It never abandons its song
Be it in the hills, or in the plains
Behold in Hwang-ho, Nile or Indus
Civilization roosted nowhere but in water
Columbus also set his foot in water
Before landing at any civilization
Water has never learnt to stop
Nor does it comply to be barred;
Water is but a flow
It is a metaphor of change
Intellect finds its essence in water
Never try to stop water
It has its own pace
Do not block it anywhere
It has its own manners
We must learn from water
The lesson of freedom
We from read from water
The sermon of dynamism
Go to the riverbank instead
And watch the water at flow
Observe its pace
Water is the entire story of your civilization
Water is the living emblem of your faith
