Mother

Mohan Singh Saud

Is there any creature like a mother?
As it seems except her are all other,
Who can measure her love toward kid?
Who can starve just her children to feed?
Every mother is the same to love
Rare person positioned all of above
Her offspring nursing and caring
Culture, manner, language sharing.
Selfless love never can be paid back
Wishes children would be in right track
No other desires except bearing kids
Children’s happiness, but no other needs.
Who made in the world such a creature?
For her children having benevolent nature
Might be her greatest happiness if knows
Her children’s life grooms like a sweet rose.
As Kipling rightly said, “God could not be
Everywhere, so he made mothers” to see
And protect children making fearless
Praying day and night for their wellness.
