Thus, Silent I am

Must read

Hem Bishwakarma

For you said so—
I am yet quiet as a road
Say nothing if you
Walk along—
Swirling the dust of memory
I hold my tongue!

Undoubtedly, I should never slide down
Merely a landslip
Neither should I flood myself
With the recollection
Nor serpentine a hurricane
For you said— I should, stone silent

Dangling you before
The drape of my eyes
I am silent under the tomb of memories!

Stride one more memory
Across the laid eyes on the road
I’ll l witness it so quiet!

Hem Bishwakarma‘s poetic expressions count on love, humanity and social issues. As a translator, his works are featured in national and international literary platforms.
