Nature and Nurture

Shyam Gaire

When I sat inside the river, an eagle came
Into the field of rice, birds rubbing fame
Ha ha…an old man shouted after the birds were bagged
The eagle came near to the young man, shacked
Why you came to me? The young man said
Because you cannot suggest an old man to pay
Fire, fire people shouted to be a free!
But the young man was already burnt by fire tree
In the dark night, the young and old man assembled
Birds were flying in the woods to be resemble
What can I do? The sound met nature
They cannot understand the voice of creatures
The young man was a hunter to be great
The eagle was a postman to convey natural law to set
The old man and birds were our greed
If we go with nature all will be freed.
