Seeing mother Earth’s poor condition,
The Angel of animals cried:
“Oh Lord! Oh Lord!
Save earth from these
Brutal human kind.”
The Devil, too, cried:
“Who is this mighty creature
Greater vicious than I?
From a newborn
To old-aged
Have no pity;
Give Her a lot of pain –
Terrible headache, eye-pain,
Fever, and cough –
Making it worse again
with whole body pain.”
The Devil gathered
Others of his kind, and
Cast a nasty spell
Into the spreading air, and
Throughout the world:
Among all humans
Not even taking an hour.
Now, they are
Locked in the rooms;
Lost properties and lives;
Waiting to come out
Like bees from a hive.
Mother earth
Taking sigh of relief
Hopes they’ve learned a lesson.
