Bagawath Bhandari
As rain pelts down the sky,
My thoughts dwindle in solitary cry,
Flashing the memories of bygone days,
Rejuvenating the energy amid hairs in grey.
Every lustrous bloom dances in delight,
Beneath the cuddle of flashing lights,
Of sky in the painful twilight,
As pain germinates welcoming the night.
The winding road conceals behind the clouds,
Leaving me alone in my wondering thoughts,
I gaze flickering light of fast-plying cars,
Twinkling deeply in love akin to the stars.
Every drop of rain turns to be a stream,
Tossing my one and only a dream,
Of fighting for the sake of love on earth,
Hidden in the vale of my throbbing heart.
As rain recedes washing the dried leaves,
Primrose sings the song of grief,
Sending the string of memories down my spine,
Along with the rhythm of undying wind.
