Badaldevi Chamling
Up on the hill, there lies a village
A shadowy zone nestles in the village
Dew zealously governs the zone
Until the sun calls the noon.
The frost wills the zone an affair
Descends after dusk in best suits
Erects the upper layer soil on the earth
Then builds a castle
The world knows whom it would stay with
Playing hide-and-sick
The entire night in the castle
Where there is a shadowy zone
Up on the hill, there lies a village.
Monsoon occurs
Drizzle pitter-patters
It drenches all the eatages on pasture
And then,
The mist below the ravine tides up following
and enwraps them together
H’m……
How far they would reach within the wrap
Let it not be publicized!
Where there is a shadowy zone
Up on the hill, there lies a village.
