Maharani’s Mercy

Indra Prakash Shah

She is apt in saying; sugary
So am I
I dream, get excited with her sweetness
And offer myself to be eaten up.
I always think
About her tenderness
Hitting the bygone days
Where we used to neglect the real ‘we’.
Held spell-bound by her beauty
That I see now
I expect the red-letter days to be back!
Ultimately, you are mine, and I am yours
Setting free from the colored spectacles.
For your love, I would be completely insane ever
Run of good luck!
Cross me in nothing
To talk random
For the indelible hallmark
Of your love, Maharani!
How freely you hover in my mind
In my eyes
In my heart, seen everywhere!
Whenever you touch me
Or I touch you
I ring and vibrate
And I vibrate and ring
Are we made up of the same thing ?
