Sky Calling the Stars

Monalisa Parida

Shafts of curtains of coloured lights
Seen on visible lighted nights
In the night sky for north we trod
Where lights of love show the powers of God.

It was like a bed of stars,
That twinkled in the sky.
It is the hope of a beholder
That one would come his way.

And when he is thinking of it
No matter where he is.
He takes a look up to the sky
To see the shining stars.
