“Rose State” and Other Poems

Must read

Masudul Hoq

1. Rose State

Rose voice
Color, extracted from the deep beauty of her body
A rose state gets completed with the combination of numerous rose voice Where there is a constitution
Only women can get melted with the color of that rose;
Understanding mood of rose.

2. Island

Each of us has an island in our chest
The sky floats on salt water
The seed of life awakens in the tide
An invisible pain
Getting wounded, sits in the dark though being isolated light.
The evening, discovered in our chests
When gets drenched in rain
Memories commit suicide with the intercourse of separation.

3. Poet and King Fidas

A poet has every wrinkle on his forehead
Stains of worry
Beyond the hustle and bustle of the city on a lonely park bench
Goes back
Sitting with fallen leaves
Whispers
Wearing the six-leaf crown Moves to the country of roses-
Phrygia Finds spring in the garden of King Fidas
A poet, holding a yellow leaf’s life in hand, In the light of the earth, having a shadow’s body, Looks at the fire …

4. Touchstone

Although from the outside everyone sees me agile
But I am settled in every moment
Limited to timeThe wait is just a touch
I am infinite in all finals
That wants to touch meShe goes back tired
I am a void
Each instantaneous one and limited manyHas transformed me into a stone of myth
