Sujan Timalsina
Innumerable tales were written on my history
But it was only history that read the tales;
I did not read any of them
Nor did you read any of them.
The marks of my steps, taken to alter history
Were all erased, like creases of boat-marks on water
Many stone-inscriptions became a part of house-walls.
Those sheets were, in a few days, crushed
To recast into Nepali paper, to address its scarcity.
I then started looking for pages of my own history
But unable to retrieve the same,
I am gradually turning into history myself.Â
