Death

Binod Dawadi

What is death I don’t at all know
In life, when breath leaves the soul
Or the body, it is death,
At what it will comes we don’t know that
Somebody dies early and some as old

Some die young; what will
Happen to our life we don’t know after death
People prefer to live; nobody wants to die
What is the connection of body and the soul?

Where do people go after death?
Nobody can tell and nobody can explain
Only may God know the answer,
God is only the super powerful one
I know there are many forms of life

Life is there in many forms but I can’t remember
Many flashbacks of other past-lived life
People claim; through meditation we can read all our past
And get enlightened in the life as did the Buddha

Death is not the end; rather a transformation
Of soul from one body to another
Body dies, burns and becomes ashes but the soul never dies
The soul never stops or rests; the soul is a form of God
Death is absence of the body and presence of the soul
To live through yet another life.
