Banira Dhakal
In the stifled darkness, there is a fragile echo in your mind.
It says you have to follow a trail to get to the end.
Your mind never shows you the right trail.
It shows you a slope and then gives you hope.
Life gives you tears and then consumes you in fears.
When you take a step to reach a mile, then, life smiles.
Life breathes society.
And society?
It makes you beg for its acceptance, it tells you should do, and what you shouldn’t.
It gives you security, it gives you a chance, in its gestures, it makes sure you dance.
But, you!
You listen to your soul.
You open your eyes and open your mind, and fly in the sky.
You will see mazes are there along the trail, the trail of your thoughts that guides your life.
When you realize that you are guided by thousands of years of graved thoughts, you are set free.
You are set free.
