The Purvanchan Sahitya Pratisthan, Biratnagar has decided to honor poet and literary activist Milan Samir with Sudish Niraula Youth Literary Award, 2020. According to a press release issued by the Pratisthan, the award, carrying a sum of 11000 rupees, will be conferred on poet Samir soon. The award has been established by Govinda and Tika Sudish Niraula in memory of their late son Sudish Niraula. Before this, the award has been conferred on poet and critic Mahesh Paudyal, and poet and literary activist Sojho Gaunle.
Samir, who hails from Syangja, is a published author and a literary activist of high repute.
