I Have No Time

Ram DayalRakesh

One fine morning
I was walking along a pacca road
Enjoying the soft shower of rain
The rivers and rivulets were full of waters
Nature was red in teeth and claws
I was thinking about human life
Full of pains and pleasures

I had no time to stare
Because I was busy
I had to return early
To see my friends and foes
Who were waiting for me
Because I had promised to meet them on time
This appointed time made me worried
My friend is tensed always
So I could not enjoy beauty of nature
I am sick of this material life
I have no peace of mind
Because life is full of sorrow
I see rivers flowing violently
It has also no peace of mind
Because it has to reach its destination

Life is like river
It stops for ever
When there is no life.
