Dear Friend!

Sundar Panta

You’re, therefore I’m!
I don’t know
whetheryou will be or not
You’re journeying faster
It is hard for me to believe why
I turn speechless,
Surprised!
Perplexed!
Tears well up in my eyes
How long will this body remain?
I can see through my eyes,
I wish, I could see always
together,
I wish I could live ever together,
I wish we could always
walk together,
I wish I could always
Sleeptogether,
I wish I could always
Eat together,
I wish I could always
laughtogether
I have the right to say so
I am your friend.
Dear friend!You’re,therefore I’m!
Today your beamingface has gone
pale! Your conviction
is withering
Your scholarship seems
to be faltering
Why is it that there is an
impression of being
far away from me?
From you I have yet to learn
to sacrifice.
I have to learn the
same determination.
I still have to learn the art.
I have yet to learn the wisdom
I have so much to learn.
Therefore,
You are and the mind is with you
You are and the hand is with you.
You are and the body is with you
So, you have to laugh,
So, you have to live.
Once again,
I would like to see in you
Full of laughter
And complete laughter.
Again, I would like to
walk with you
So, I have a right to say
that I am your friend.
