Puskar Lohani
When frozen youth looks askance
And smiles a faint smile
A young girl feels very shy;
She feels a strange joy.
In the soft caress of the sun
She cuddles, she flirts, she moves,
She is mesmerized by its love and soft caress.
And then rolling over and over
She warms her frozen youth;
She forgets everything else.
Afterwards,
When the sun stops playing with her,
When its heat begins to burn,
Like a drugged one looking for something
She searches,
She comes back to her senses,
The she startles
And sheds tears from her eyes.
