Meditating on ‘Being’

Surendra Gautam

I belittle my sweats to get my dreams true,
But they screw up as soon as the sweats dry.
Again, I hassle and foresee,
My dreams grow bigger than before,
And my dream becomes myths.
When I stand with my deepest contemplation,
My dreams silhouettes against my karma.
I lament, grumble and repent,
Again, I meditate on my plight,
And I reciprocated with my being.
In the long run,
Dreams will be condensed,
“Compromise” becomes an ulterior motive,
But life still goes on.
