Sudarshan Poudel
Entrances to hospitals are not as narrow
As are the paths along which thoughts travel;
The doses of drugs are much more understandable
While previous life plays hide-and-seek in a cloud of mist
Yet, grasping the roots of the past
Men of today is refusing to enter the hospital;
Decaying within his own boundary of belief
He awaits for Jesus’ rescue
The thoughts of men are infested with leprosy;
They search for miracles instead of remedies!
Like a clock that chases time with dead batteries,
Like an outgrown child that still wears old clothes,
Men of today is cursing his own shadow
Despite knowing the truth!
The thoughts of men are infested with leprosy;
They search for miracles instead of remedies!
How many times will Henson have to find the solution?
How many times will truth have to unravel itself?
How many times should curtains of lies be torn?
How many times should free medicine fight with expensive illusions?
Men, smearing a paste of postmodernism on himself
Is asking for answers that are already known
It’s time where even dumb could speak
But why is the thoughts of men still infested with leprosy?
They search for miracles instead of remedies!
