The Moon

Must read

Laxmi Uprety

I looked at the moon uninterrupted.
He shone in the blue
Surrounded by myriad stars,
A living model: the moon….

Fairm tranquil moon spreading sweetness
In solitary ambience.

He continued to spread the freely raging light
Plentiful, unbroken and relentless
By dissolving himself with it
Between shades of trees
Standing by roadsides.

Ah, this eternal blue
This passionate moment
That quenches no thirst
That symbolism of love’s color luxury
Captured by artist’s brush on canvas!

Standing, I kept gazing
The moon spreads a soft smile in a halo
Tranquil, powerless and cool.

Moon: a symbol of achievements
A colossal from of faith and confidence, selfless.
Moon under the cover of
Immodest night shone on freely
Giving out impressions of love’s false color.
