The Ugly Truth

JN Dahal

A traumatic and inconsiderable story
night before the boy left home.
Monsters raped his mom and aunt!
Rural women had dreadful incidents.

Oh boy!
I know you got intolerable pain
So, listen to my poetic suggestions.
Please express the ugly truth
Healing is possible; your heart can.
Prove the world you are a torture-survivor
Don’t ever say, ‘a tragic incident is not writeable.’

Help! hello! Anyone, help!
Screamed in a painful tone.
Didn’t you hear your story own?
Cruel demos hid over
People’s patience, and dreams sober.

Oh boy!
The ticking time doesn’t cause delay
Freely express the emotion; I would say.
Please reveal the ugly truth
Healing is possible; your heart can.
It’s a poetic request to believe
Let parents get peace and relief.
