Arjun Ghimire
Overdue are our ages gone;
Our Recreational Age can’t postpone.
For attaining it we can see;
The Age of Impunity.
We’ve acted on/in the earth raptly;
It looks like we assume she creates blindly.
She cries alone for deforestation;
Can’t yield water coz of desertification.
Forest fire and hunting are at an alarming rate;
Wildlife loses its life and fate.
Storehouse of oxygen is almost over;
Over-ventilation may occur forever.
Pollution is caused everywhere;
Possibility of life may not exist anywhere.
Greenhouse effect is accelerating;
Accordingly climate change is spreading.
Much of aquatic life couldn’t be seen;
With ships we’ve stripped it clean.
Nuclear tests are the prime competitions;
One wrong button causes all devastations.
Our negligence is quite unfair;
At rates we don’t at all care.
Wonder, will the next earth be found;
Or will this one be our end?
