The Zigzag Way

Must read

Bimal Kishore Shrivastwa

We were making a trip.
I preferred the zigzag path to
reach the destination.
My fellow travelers
chose the straight way.
The zigzag way was cumbersome,
challenging and adventurous.
Taking it for a Sisyphean task,
they, as usual, opted for
the uncomplicated, short-cut way.

Preference to easy highways,
and fast trips may lead to
slip or exhaustion
before reaching the station.
Like a tiny, patient boat,
I was floating on the zigzag river of life
to reach my destined harbor.
Easy path seekers!
Just climb on to the zigzag way;
You will experience
the extension of your life.
