Nepal Academy has published Anuvad Sandarbha Grantha, a reference book of translation. The 730-page long work of high import has been edited by Prof. Dr. Usha Thakur, Chief of Academy’s Department of Translations, and Prof. Dr. Govinda Raj Bhattarai, a PhD in Translation and formerly a professor at the Department of Education, Tribhuvan University. According to Academy sources, the book incorporates seminal theoretical and research articles on various aspects of translation by thirty-two scholars. Prof. Usha Thakur said, the painstaking task, now accomplished, is expected to ease further study, practice and research in the field of translation.
The book is available at Academy outlets, and various newsstands. Makalu Publication has taken the charge of distributing the book, sources said.
