I Am the Sky

Must read

Padam Bishwokarma

I am the sky
Holy like the firmament; pure like the blue
And utterly guiltless.

When a veil of cloud gathers
Underneath the pristine sky
A storm brews and blows it away
Restoring the sky’s purity.
For this, the sky always remains blotless.

No one can stop the world
None can bar it;
Leave aside all the games
It continues to move on its own accord
For, the sky is without any blame.
Make no attempt to soil the immaculate sky
Make no move to shake it
Do not attempt to blot the holy firmament
For, the sky is incessant, unfathomable and endless.
