You

Must read

By Rajani Dhakal

Carrying fodder of green grass- a karmic load
In the footpath, in front of Singhdurbar
Your moving feet
The life’s Supreme Court
Sees helplessly
And
Failing to proclaim your rights
Uses a black blindfold to cover its eyes

Though you’ve reached
At the front door of the Ministry of Labor
You remain invisible
While your labor remains unevaluated

Chores’ burden hundred percent;
Political Representation thirty three percent
This is how you are defined.

Upholding the entire sky of life
You’re reduced into half sky of rights
Though conned in legal property rights
In every other creative features you thrive.
